From Nuremberg to The Hague: Examining Multilingual Justice
A visit in tweets, photos and video to an exhibit on modern day conference interpreting and its relationship to the international justice system.
During the first week of December (2017), the AIIC Netherlands Region sponsored a symposium and an exhibit highlighting the birth of simultaneous interpretation at the first ever international criminal tribunal as a springboard to two interlinked worlds: (1) the profession of conference interpreting as we know it today, and (2) the development of an international criminal justice system. Below you can scroll through highlights of both the exhibit and the symposium.
